Photographer website design that lets your portfolio lead

Clients hire a photographer on style first. Photographer website design should show your best work large and quickly, make clear what kinds of shoots you do and where, and turn a 'love your work' into an inquiry with a date attached.

Quick answers

What does a website for a photographer need?
Most of all, portfolio galleries from your own images, grouped by type of shoot; an inquiry form with date, location and shoot type; a page on how a session works, from booking to delivery; where you work and whether you travel; kind words from past clients, quoted exactly and with their permission. Every site we build also works on phones first, is checked on every screen size before you see it, is hosted with SSL, and is looked after every month.
How much does a website for a photographer cost with MiniMorph Studios?
From $195 a month on the Launch plan, with a 12-month agreement and no setup fee. That covers design, writing, hosting and monthly care for up to 5 pages.
How long does it take to get a photographer website?
Your first draft arrives 1–2 weeks after onboarding wraps, and nothing goes live until you approve it.

What gets in the way for photographers, and what we do about it

Big, beautiful images make many portfolio sites crawl on a phone.

Galleries built to load quickly, with each image sized for the screen it is on, so your work looks sharp without the wait.

Couples, families and businesses each want to see their own kind of shoot.

Separate galleries and pages for each type of work you do, such as weddings, portraits or commercial.

Inquiries arrive without a date, a place or a budget.

An inquiry form that asks for the date, the location, the kind of shoot and how they found you.

See a site we built: Clover & Thistle

Clover & Thistle is a fictional boutique we made to show our work. It's our closest demo to a photographer; yours would be built around your own trade, photos and words.

Questions photographers ask us

Will my images lose quality on the site?

We make smaller versions for phones and keep larger ones for big screens, so they look clean everywhere. Your original files stay with you.

Can I show prices or starting packages?

If you want to. Many photographers show a starting point; others prefer an inquiry first. We write it the way you sell.

Can clients view and download their photos on my site?

Private client galleries are not something we build. If you already use a gallery service, we link to it from your menu.

Can I stop people copying my images?

No website can fully stop that. We show your name with your work and leave out download buttons, and you keep every right to your images.

Do I need a blog?

Not to start. Short write-ups of real shoots, shared with the client's permission, can help people find you, and we add them as you send them, within your plan's page count.
