Ownership Policy

What You Own
Everything is yours. Your content, your website — the files, the design, the words and the pictures — and your domain. You own all of it outright, and if you ever leave you take all of it with you. We keep nothing back. We make one use of it ourselves and this is the whole of it: we may show your finished site in our portfolio as an example of our work — never anything your visitors sent you — and if you would rather we did not, say so and we will not, or we will take it down.
In detail, and from the moment your project starts:
- Your domain name (registered in your name or transferable to you)
- Your logo and brand assets
- Your business content (copy, service descriptions, photos you provided)
- Your customer data (form submissions, email addresses, contact records)
- Approved copy and content created for your business
- Uploaded photos and files
- Your website — all of it. The files, the design, the words and the pictures. Yours outright, not licensed to you and not only while you pay us. We host and maintain it while your plan is active, and we keep no copy to reuse. You can download a full copy of your website from your portal at any time — the pages, your words, your pictures and your fonts, as ordinary files you or anyone else can put online. You do not have to be leaving to ask for it. If we are holding your domain, we release it to any registrar you choose within 14 days of you asking (or of the date it can move, if a domain transfer rule holds it for a while), and neither of these depends on anything being paid.
What MiniMorph Manages While Your Plan Is Active
While your monthly plan is active, MiniMorph manages:
- Website hosting and infrastructure
- The website system and deployment
- Monthly maintenance, updates, and approved content changes
- Support workflow through your customer portal
- SSL via Cloudflare (auto-renewed, always on)
If You Leave
You take everything of yours.
What stops is the service: the hosting, the monthly maintenance, your customer portal, the reporting and the alerts. Those are what your plan pays for, and they were never yours to take — but nothing you own goes with them. Where a font, stock photo, or plugin on your site was licensed from the people who made it, that licence is what governs that one piece — for you and for us equally. We will tell you which ones they are whenever you ask.

Domain Specifics
A domain you buy through us is registered in your name from the start: you are its owner, and Section 14 of the Website Service Agreement covers its price, its yearly renewal and how to move it. If MiniMorph holds any other domain on your behalf, it is still your domain. Either way you can ask for it back at any time — during your plan or on the way out. We release or transfer it to whatever registrar you name, within 14 days, and we do not hold it back over money. The one exception is a domain transfer rule: a new domain usually cannot move to another registrar for its first 60 days, and then we do it within 14 days of the date it can move.
A person does this by hand rather than a button doing it, and that is deliberate: moving a domain badly can stop your email working, so we check that first and move it in the right order. That is what the 14 days are for.
