Built for your first ride, not our highlight reel.

Plenty of schools chase footage of their best surfers. We built Tidebreak around the wobbliest first pop-up of your life — because that's the one you'll never forget.

  • We surf where the ocean is kind

    Our home break is a slow, sandy-bottom roller. No rocks, no rips on lesson days — we check conditions every morning and move or reschedule if the cove says no.

  • Small crews, loud cheering

    Never more than five surfers per coach. Your instructor knows your name, your goofy stance, and exactly when to give you the push.

  • The stand-up promise

    If you don't get to your feet in your first group lesson, your next one is on the house. We'll keep paddling out with you until you're riding whitewater solo.

  • Everything's included

    Board, wetsuit, leash, zinc, and a post-surf mug of hot chocolate at the shack. Show up in swimmers with a towel — we handle the rest.

Group Lessons Most popular

Two hours of guided stoke: fifteen minutes of beach drills, then straight into the whitewater with your coach beside you. Max five surfers per coach, boards matched to your height, and a debrief over hot chocolate at the shack.

Board & Wetsuit Rentals Walk-ins OK

A full quiver of soft-tops, mid-lengths, and longboards waxed and ready by 8am. Tell us how you surf and we'll point you at the right board and the friendliest sandbank — every rental comes with a hand-drawn map of the day's best beginner peak.
